Proof of Purchase is always required

• Products carry a one year guarantee unless otherwise stated on your slip.
• Accesssories and consumables are not guaranteed. This includes batteries, globes, remotes, cables, etc.
• The 14 day exchange is for the same product and subject to proof of purchase, return of all packaging and the condition of the product.
• Large appliance faults will be attended to at your premises within 48 hours.
• The 14 day exchange is not applicable to large appliances.
• There is no guarantee on speakers that have been damaged or blown through misuse, negligence, mismatched amplifiers or incorrect installation.
• Lightning or electrical surge damage is not covered under guarantee.
• Please note that the guarantee does not include the transport costs.
• Physical damage or normal wear and tear are not covered by guarantee.
• Other exclusions from the guarantee include insect infestation, misuse, abuse, incorrect installation, liquid damage or excessive use.
• Repairs not collected within a 3 month period will be sold to defray expenses without notification.
• Due to deflation and the reduction in price of technology replacements or credits will be done at current replacement value.
• Goods remain the property of Hi-Fi Corporation until paid for in full.
• We regret no refunds.
• A minimum quotation fee of R400 incl vat is charged upfront for any out of warranty repair, should the quote exceed R400, the customer will be notified first before the unit is repaired and be charged only the difference if the quote is accepted. Anything below R400 will automatically be repaired and returned.
• All software and software related faults where the software has been removed or altered by the customer are not covered under guarantee and will be subject to a charge.
